INTRODUCTION
Our Cobalt Salt Adhesion Promoter products are produced in accordance with advanced international standards. There are two series of products: Steel Radial Tire series and Steel Cord Conveyor Belts, High Pressure Steel Wire Braided(Winding) Hoses series. Each products series includes 6 products: Cobalt Neodecanoate, Cobalt Naphthenate, Cobalt Boroacylate, Cobalt Stearate, Nickel Neodecanoate and Nickel Boroacylate.
We adopt our own patented Wet Production Technology in production. Our products has unique properties and are environmental friendly. Low oxidizing degree and high adhesion force with steel cord after aging are important features of our products proved by authorized testing agency.
APPLICATION
INSTRUCTION
Cobalt salt adhesion promoters are hot vulcanization adhesives. It can improve the adhesion force between rubber and metal.
Our products shall be mixed with vulcanizing agents and antioxidants at the same time during one-stage rubber mixing process. The products shall be added at the second stage during three-stage rubber mixing process. The temperature should be controlled between 120 and 150℃ to ensure that cobalt salts are fully dispersed in rubber.
Resorcinol Formaldehyde Silica Cobalt adhesion system is highly recommended. Our products can function more effectively in this adhesion system. Our products have excellent bonding effects with both natural rubber and the mixture of natural and synthetic rubber.
Our adhesion promoters become effective during vulcanization process. The temperature must be controlled between 140 and 160℃ during rubber material vulcanization. The recommended dosage percentage of our Cobalt Salt is as follows (dosage differs regarding different rubber products):
①Cobalt Neodecanoate: 0.6-2.0 % ②Cobalt Boroacylate: 0.5-1.8 %
③Cobalt Naphthenate: 1.2-2.5 % ④Cobalt Stearate: 1.5-2.5 %
The dosages and working conditions of Nickel Salt Adhesion Promoters are basically the same as corresponding Cobalt Salt Adhesion Promoters. The vulcanizing agents shall be adjusted slightly in some rubber products depending on different conditions.
